HiPPI 4.0 and 3.31 compatibility

HiPPI 4.0 and 3.31 compatibility

We have a mix of workstations and servers running IRIX and interconnected with the HiPPI interface. We keep seeing data loss between new systems with HiPPI4.0 and systems with the HiPPI 3.31 interface.
Any known problems or has any one else seen this?
