hello colleagues,
how can I change the time for call (ringing) disconnecting if the B subscriber no answer.
By default it rings constantly.

What software version ?
Normally for HiPath 4000 the timer is called - ANSADV in CTIME CP1 - this is a system timer - calls will forward to their destination using this timer.
On newer versions of software there is a parameter in ACTDA called VARRING which can be changed to allow different times for forwarding for individual users.

To determine software version - log on via Comwin
click up top 'macro/retreive system variant'

Dear colleague, we have some HiPath4000 V3 and V5.
the ANSADV in CTIME CP1 is 8 sec, but it is ringing constantly. No any forward has been activated. I need the call will be terminated by NO ANSWER after a certain time 1 min for example.

Forward the extension to a number that does not work and test again.
The ANSADV is for to 'forward on no answer' NOT to stop ringing.

yes I know this solution, but I would like to know if the HiPath has the system setting for any timer which can terminate the ringing

That's normally a carrier issue - the whole idea is to get a phone to ring !- if you don't want a phone to ring then use the ACTDA paramter
ADD-ACTDA:STN,xxxx,VARRING,3; (Here after 3 seconds it diverts)
To cancel that and bring it back to the system timer
ADD-ACTDA:STN,xxxx,VARRING,0;

On a side note:
sbcsu, I read this today and tried it out. I've tried changing the VARRING time for individual extensions in my system with no effect (V8R1). Is that something that doesn't work in my version?

as I found out, the system does not have such a feature (no any timer for NO ANSWER) You can only forward incoming call, then VARRING will work.
