Hi,

When I attempted to connect the hipath4000 via comwin,
I don't know why the system give me a rejected message.
The message is -- connection rejected by transpoerservice, check transport service names.
Does anybody know what happened? and how to fix the problem?

Thanks!!

There's not much to go on here, but....

Did somebody disconnect the switch maintenance port from the network? (it doesn't need that connection to do telephony)

Maybe the LAN switch port failed or locked up.

Telnet service has to be running on the switch (or whatever is used for remote maintenance).

Has your IT department recently made changes to the network firewall that would be blocking the traffic (on Port 23 I think)?

Did you recently install any new software on your computer that might have changed files in use by ComWin.

Did you recently add a new antivirus or similar product to your computer that might be blocking access by ComWin?

There are some things to look at. Since it appears to be a problem with the transport service and not an authentication problem I would assume it's network related.

You have totally shut down and restarted your PC as one of your troubleshooting steps, right?
