Hi..
we have this issue of license expired on the HiPath V6 Assistant's showing "Your License has expired. Only the default license is available".
The temporary solution is to connect to Assistant's Linux via PuTTy or another application and restart the License service with the following commands
#procadmin -tg LicM
#procadmin -sg LicM
My question is which directory do I need to do it at....
thanks

The licence should work if the time and date are correct. On the start page of the assistant you should see the status on the right hand side.
The licence is associated with the MAC addresses of the server.
I assume it is the root directory
cd /

This situation is a known bug - to be corrected soon with Hotfix

thanks for the reply, we ended up re-cut a new license and upload it, all is well 'for a time being'.. as 'Iamnothere' said, it's a known bug waiting to be fixed.

I just re-read your original post. I did not answer your actual question. The "procadmin" command does not require a specific folder, but you must be inside the Assistant virtual machine (SuSE Linux 10 SP 3). You may launch PuTTy to the IP Address of Assistant, and login as user "engr" with the Assistant password, or you may use Assistant -> Expert Mode -> SSH connection to Assistant. Both of these methods will get you inside the Assistant VM. Then do your procadmin command, then exit by typing "exit".
Good luck!!! Awesome system!

Thanks Iamnotthere, that's great.
