dear colleagues.

I have Hipath 4000 V8 R2 and my hard disk is not booting,

If I boot the system with fresh hard disk can I recover system number and codew from faulty hard disk.

Waiting for your positive response

Best Regards

Mohammad Ashraf

If you are able to mount the non-booting disc, you can recover the whole telephony DB. It's in /opt/dscxl/share, there will be 1 3GB file used in VHD1, maybe 2 if a DDRSM image was made to VHD2. There will be a link from hicom.img -> the current file. If you transfer that whole file to the same location on your new disc, you can mount it in VHD1 in the Portal, and the DB will load as normal.
