I'm trying to build a new DNIT for a number that needs to be redirected. I want it so that when 85 is dialed, it dials 5085 instead. I haven't tried building one before, so I'm missing something. 78 is in use already converting from 78 to 834. When I regened DNIT and tried to add 85 using the same command line as 78 (with the new info), I received the error below. I also tried changing it to 95205085 to match the 2085 conversion, but received that same alert. I've looked at it for awhile, and realized that I need professional (HiPath) help! As far as I can tell, it wants 85 to be a DAR of STN, but to me it looks like it already is.

I've listed all of the WABE and other information below on the numbers I'm dealing with.

What am I missing? Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

In your DEL-SCSU:85,ALL; AMO command, the system's response is telling you that "85" is configured as an EXTERNAL STATION. That means that "85" is a station number in another Node; therefore no SCSU record will exist in this Node. To see the configuration, perform: DIS-WABE:GEN,85;

The response should indicate that a "DESTNO" is assigned, which is the route from your current Node to the "other" Node where this "85" station resides.
If you know that this station is no longer being used, you may delete it from AMO WABE using DEL-WABE, and no one will be able to dial it.
That should resolve the problem.

Good Luck!

Thanks Iamnothere. However, I needed it to still work because xpressions uses it for out-calling. I would try to get into xpressions programming to change the calling number, but I'm not very familiar with the program. I need to look at notes again from the class.

Thanks sbcsu! I finally had a chance to try your idea, and it worked beautifully! It's just what I need until I figure out out-calling! (or whatever the new term for it is.)
