Hello

With HiPath version 6.0 is available new ISDN modem Allied Telesis.

1)Is there somewhere documentation available from Siemens HQ (maybe from APT Munich) with correct configuration of Hipath to connect this device
Not the configuration of the router (its easy) but the correct, properly configuration of the HiPath such as routing, access, Asiistant etc.

2)Can someone run an analog modem through asynchronous port on the router Telesis,
I'm thinking of leaving the current configuration of remote access in Comwim
but how to keep the configuration of the parts Famos Ufamos etc.?...

unfortunately there's no analog modem officially released.
so you have to use an internal stn with stmd board.
about the configuration of this router , i think you're talking about 415s
There’re two way to connect with h4k v6
1)inside the customer lan (you can reach Portal , Assistant ,rmx, csta, linux etc.)
2)inside the atlantic lan (only rmx and assistant)

In the first scenario you need two static ip address in the same subnet of the hipath , one for the router and one for the terminal that will be connected to the system.

Now connect with putty (baud = 9600 )

User= manager
Password = friend

/*with the command below you give a name to the router
set system name="allied_h4k"

/*here you set a user and a password and the ip of the terminal that will connect to the router
add user=sis pass=1234567890 lo=no
set user=sis telnet=yes ipaddr=192.168.10.100 netmask=255.255.255.255

/*isdn profile settings
add isdn call=ppp0 num=0 prec=in
set isdn call=ppp0 inany=on

/*ppp settings
create ppp=0 idle=1200 over=isdn-ppp0
set ppp=0 over=isdn-ppp0 authentication=chap lqr=off

/*network setting (router ip address eth0 192.168.17.201)
enable ip
add ip int=eth0 ip=192.168.10.101 mask=255.255.255.0
add ip int=ppp0 ip=0.0.0.0
add ip rou=0.0.0.0 mask=0.0.0.0 int=eth0 next=192.168.17.101

At the end you have to save your settings with command:

Create config=filename.cfg

Then set the router to load this file when it restarts by using the command:

Set config=filename.cfg

Now you can connect BRI to the relative board of the Allied telesis and eth0 to the switch within the customer lan

For the Atlantic connection you have to do this:

/*set router name
set system name="allied_h4k"

/* set a user and a password and the ip of the terminal connected to the
add user=sis pass=1234567890 lo=no
set user=sis telnet=yes ipaddr=192.0.2.100 netmask=255.255.255.255

/*set isdn profile
add isdn call=ppp0 num=0 prec=in
set isdn call=ppp0 inany=on

/*set ppp
create ppp=0 idle=1200 over=isdn-ppp0
set ppp=0 over=isdn-ppp0 authentication=chap lqr=off

/*network settings
enable ip
add ip int=eth0 ip=192.0.2.101 mask=255.255.255.0
add ip int=ppp0 ip=0.0.0.0
add ip rou=0.0.0.0 mask=0.0.0.0 int=eth0 next=192.0.2.101

now you can create a new connection with com-win
:in the FAMOS tab just set in the hostname tab , the Assistant IP Address
Then in TELNET add assistant ip the press PPP admin

Now press “configure”

Under “general” select your isdn modem

Under security choose “typical”

Ad insert user , password and phone number:

Welcome

Thank you very much for your reply.
Connection to the ISDN have already mastered, and it works very well.

It is a pity that there is no official documentation, as if someone was ashamed of or forgotten.
Interestingly, in Siemens you can order a regular analog modem to the router
I checked the TI-ONLINE

Remote Service Access Package V6.0
1 S30122-X7362-X-Modem Asynchronous Insys For HTS / remote access service, if AYP707 = 1 or 11 Countries: GER / IM (Regular analog modem)
1 S30122-X7551-X ISDN-Terminaladapter For HTS / remote access service, if AYP707 = 2, 21, 22 or 23 Countries: GER / IM (INSIDE CARD)1 S30122-X8022-X1 Adapter Kit For HTS Europe, if AYP707 = 1 or 11 Countries: BEL, FKR, ITL, OES, SWZ
1 S30122-X8022-X2 Adapter Kit in For the HTS, if AYP707 = 1 or 11 Countries: GBR
1 S30122-H7728-X ISDN Router For HTS / remote access service, if AYP707 = 4

I tried to do an asynchronous connection but unfortunately it did not work out.
