HiPath 4000 - rebrand Optiset displays

Greetings,

Need to rebrand Optiset displays on 2 HiPath 4000 systems:

1) using the HiPath Assistant

2) using RMX CLI

CHA-ZAND:TYPE=OPTISET,DISPLOGO = " Customer Name";

If Remote Shelves are not accessible the default Logo then changes to 'AP Emergency'
To change that to 'IP Link Down' for example.

CHA-ZANDE:TYPE=ALLDATA,APEDTXT = IP LINK DOWN;

The Remote Shelf message is in capitals, the standard message can be in either case.

The text input here on this forum has removed the leading spaces in my comment above.

CHA-ZAND:TYPE=OPTISET,DISPLOGO = "SPACES Customer Name";

The 'SPACES' pad out the 'Customer Name' text so that it shows on the Right Hand Side of the screen.

My ears perked up a bit on this....

So normally, if I recall because I'm not looking at one, the optiset phones have the time and extension number on them? Would this then display on the second (or first) line? Total characters are 24, right?

This might be cool to play with.

How many spaces did you included in the example above that were omitted?

Can this be done using the HiPath Assistant?

To find out how many spaces are possible:
Log on to the system via ComWin
Click on 'macro' and 'retrieve system variant'

Then click on 'Edit' and 'MML Editor'

In there change the first drop down list to ZAND
the second to CHANGE
Third to OPTISET

Then scroll down to DISPLOGO

Sorry I have no idea about how to do this on the assistant.
It would be too tedious, just log on and type in CHA-ZAND:TYPE=OPTISET,DISPLOGO=" COUNT THE SPACES HERE CUSTOMER NAME";

It looks like 22 characters in total including spaces.
If you Right Justify your customer name then the customer name appears over on the right hand side, with the spaces beforehand.
In total spaces and customer name is 22 characters.
