HiPath 4000 Communication Server - HELP!

Hello,

I've got a Siemens HiPath 4000 Communication Server which I need to access.

I cannot find a user guide, nor can I find any info on if the admin access is done by browser, or by software - the terms head and brick wall spring to mind!

What I would like to know is: How can I log on to this system, and where can I find a good manual or FAQ on the system?

Hello Warrenator. I have some bad news. It can take years to learn the HiPath 4000. Telling you how to access it is not going to help. I suggest that you tell the forum what you desire to accomplish, then perhaps someone here can steer you through the process.

For example, there are two operating systems: Unix and RMX. There are multiple ways to access each operating system. Until we know your goal, we would just be firing shots in the dark. Consider attending a HiPath 4000 basic training course. There are training centers in the UK, Belgium, South Africa, Munich, Texas, Sao Paulo, etc.

Do you know which version it is? The most current version is V6. Describe the hardware when you re-submit your question(s).
