I have analog extensions for the elevator phone's which are wired through a Kings III control box, When the call gets made from the elevator, it calls our in house Emergency line ( main operator) and when the call is complete the elevator phone will not disconnect. It goes into reorder, then after 7 minutes or so finally drops off. I have worked with support from Kings III, and of course they say it's the PBX. Is there any way for the Siemens Hipath 4000 to have what I know as "disconnect supervision" on other PBX's ? I have looked through COS but cannot seem to find an option to turn on. I am mostly a gui interface user, however i can and have used AMO command's. Thanks for any help.

Hi,
You need to setup the extension with the SSTN (Special Station) Parameter in SCSU
When I add in a Public Address Extension for example I always add in that parameter.
It ensures that the system sends a reversal to the extension when the system detects a clear down.
The parameter SSTN is in the SPEC section.
You may have to REG the extension and its other info like PERSI, SA, AUN
Then delete the extension
After that Add it back in with the SPEC as SSTN and test again.

If you are having problems then REG-SCSU:xxxx; for the extension and paste it here

I do the same thing. All my elevators are set up as the "Special Station" type.

Thanks for the information. I do remember the 9006 had a "special" option and did use it on that system. I will try and work my way through the command line programing, some commands have apparently changed with version updates. I believe this one is V5 R1.3.3 Thanks again.

To get command help on Comwin
Logon
Click Macro/Retrieve system variant
(Comwin then knows what version you are using)
Then in input window type a command example: REG-ACSU;
Click on that command with the mouse and then CTRL&TAB or right mouse click on the command and click MML

I'm running V7. On my assistant, after you search for the station in question you will find a bunch of check boxes at the bottom of the Basic1 tab. Special station is among them, on the right - just check the box.

I'm using ANADTMF for my device type and Normal-FW for the device combination.

Nothing really special in the COS other than Hotdest.

I was able to find the Special station box and changed all 9 elevators with success. They all disconnect properly when the far end hangs up. Thanks for all your help.
