Hi,

Been trying at this for a week or so and all out of ideas; this forum is an absolute wealth of knowledge so hoping somebody will be able to help me out.

The HDD died in our IVM card; I've been able to set up a new drive with a Morphix disc, and functionality such as auto-attendant is now working. I have created mailboxes for all extensions and any extension can dial 500, enter their password and enter their mailbox.

The problem I'm having is that phones are not ringing out to mailbox - they're just ringing forever.

The configuration (as far as I can see) in Manager E is identical to what it was before with the old IVM drive.

Is there any particular setting that I need to check, is it in the IVM maintenance etc?

Thanks in advance,
Ollie

Hi.

Check the Call Forwarding via Manager:

Dialed Extension / Second Target / Cycle / Forwarding Type / Call Forwarding Table.
The second Target must be configured as an External Destination (with Proper Route = Network Trunk IP-CORNET / S0-CORNET etc.) to the Main system IVM.

Everything else needs to be done in the LCR (Entry for IVM Group number)
Network Provider's method of = Corporate Network
Dial Rule Format = E1A
Furthermore the following Parameters: minimum COS / Access Code and Emergency need to be checked.

The networking trunk route to: Always use DSP at the IVM site to work. Cannot tel if DSP is available for OSBiz S, but only for OSBiz X.
The DSP GW IP in general should be XXX.XXX.XXX.1
The DSP IP address should be other than 192.168.101.
Make sure you have a OCCB1/OCCB3 installed.
