hello

I have an STRB and an STRBR card, the relae/sensor option card for 3550/3350 and 3500/3300 systems.

I only have the OPAL cable for the wall mounted systems though.

I want to use a sensor function on the STRBR card in a 3500 system. However, I can see the card under options in Manager E, but I can not get the sensor to work..

If i Use my STRB card in a 3550 i can get it to work just fine. Is there anything i have to be aware of on the rack system? OPAL cable, which way to turn the cable an so on?? seems i have tried most everything by now, except using an OPALR cable, which i am curently waiting to receive.
