Hipath 3000 UK caller ID

Does hipath 3000 (v6) support caller ID on UK analog lines? If so does it need any configuration?

I could upgrade to v7 (afaik it's the same core hardware, correct me if I'm wrong). Would it work with these analog trunk cards then? It's been suggested that these trunk cards don't support CLIP at all.

Hi raburton2,

It depends on what trunk card you have. The tlani2 or 4 supports cli and will work on V6. In fact it is on by default once the system recognises the card and causes delayed incoming ringing when the service is not provided while it waits for the info to come from the telco.

Darn, I only have TLA trunk cards, not TLANI. Guess I'll have keep an eye on ebay for a new card.
