Hello all,

We own a Siemans Hipath 3000 phone system with both corded and cordless phones and we are trying to work out if we can add any DECT phone or have to use the ones we already own / suggested by our phone provider ?

Thanks for reading. [thumbsup2]

Nigel

Do you have dect cells or the cordless just basic units with handsets and have for each phone

We've been told that we can only use Siemens models: S2 S3 SL3

We're currently are using a Siemens SL3 & Siemens S2 DECT phones on our system.

Just so you know it's an older hipath 3000 as we are using the Manager C software. ( which also asks the question how hard is it to upgrade it ? software only upgrade ? )

Thanks.

In theory you can use any phone that support GAP. But I would recommend using siemens phones. I had some system in the past with other cordless phones, but they experienced some strange issues

Manager C is a restricted version of the admin tool that gives access to less of the admin functions - it's usually what the customer gets by default. Manager E (previously called Assistant E) is the "tech" version, and will still run on all of that class of systems - all the way back to Hicom 150E V1.0, it's just getting your hands on it that's the challenge. That's not really related to the question - just an FYI - if you can get it someplace you can do more with it.
