We have a Siemens Hipath 1120 V7 PBX with a UP/0 extention module, Fax/DID Module and 2 analog trunk lines.
Once in each 6~8 weeks the PBX gets hung up and it is not possible to call anymore. There is no dial tone at that time and the red LED on the PBX itself is turned off.
After a mains reset (pull mains plug) everything works normal again for another 6~8 weeks and after that it happens again.
We cannot find out why this happens (mostly in the evening or night when there is no phone traffic). Up to now it has happened 3 times. I bought the PBX second hand and have it now for about half a year. For the rest everything seems to work perfect.
Also the function of the red LED is completely unknown and untraceable on the internet. Does anyone of you have any clue about the red LED and what could be the cause?
