We are currently on Impromptu 6 and PowerPlay 6.5. We use all client versions. We will be going to some Cognos Web software (IWR and Power Play for Web) as we get ready for our rollout of Series 7. We have never used Access Manager before and I read that setting up the user classes is a very critical part. Our catalogs currently only have very generic user classes such as Creator, Developer, SuperUser and User. The differences are mostly time limits and allowing SQL.
So, do I need to have the naming conventions in place before I start releasing cubes on the Web? Any suggestions on how to structure them?
Thank you,
S.
