I doubt that many of you are old enough to have played this game but you may like it...

If I say to you.. Hink-Pink (each ONE sylable_ followed by "Jovial Father" you should respond with the rhyming "Glad Dad". If you do so quickly it is a reflection of my excellent clue and your insight. On the other hand if I had said "Hinky-Pinky Jovial Father" I'd expect the rhyming response "Happy Pappy" So here are a few:
1- Hinkity pinkity (3) downtrodden harlot
2. Hink pink, cunning Drosophila
3. Hinkity pinkity, secretive visera

Code:

1 Destitute prostitute
2 sly fly

RodKnowlton, shouldn't it be 'viscera' for that to work?

Also see thread1322-909457.

Katy44:
Since I can't find "visera" in any online dictionary, I'm going to assume the word is misspelled and go with RodKnowlton's answer.

TANSTAAFL!!

I looked up 'visera' and was under the impression it was related to video.

No, sorry, not a dictionary. I quickly looked it up on Google, and there are a couple of mentions, but it seems to be a brand name for some sort of video system. I just assumed that it was one of the many words I didn't know!

OK...I am discovered. Can't spell. But I played this game when people SPOKE face 2 face and never by mail. And because RodKnowlton got it so quickly it MUST have been a fantastic clue! Sorry about that.

I wouldn't have got it even if it had been 'viscera'!
And I like this game...any more?

There are many but the hard part is making the question not the answer. So if you like them you need to ask some first. You take an adjective ... i.e. 'funny' ask what rhymes and has 2 syllables..'bunny' now turn that into.. "hinky pinky: humorous hare" etc.

4. Hinky Pinky: humorous hare

5. Hinky Pinky: hare clothes

6. Hink Pink: clotheless Bugs *

*No backlash on this one!

hinky-pinky: proficient barrister

Close ... (not really).
But it is a hinkety-pinkety, not a hinky-pinky, so you need 3 syllables.

"See the TURTLE of enormous girth!"

... which reminds me of a story a bout an Aussie who came to America (could have been Paul Hogan), and was stopped by a cop, 'cuz he was driving on the wrong side of the road (you Brits et. al. do everything backward ;-) )

Cop: May I see your licence and registration, please?

Cop revies the documents

Cop: I see you're from down under.

Aussie: Yes!

Cop: You realize that you were driving on the wrong side of the road?

Aussie: Yes!

Cop: Did you come over here from all the way around the world, just to die?

Aussie: No, officer. I came over here just yesterdie!

For "hinky pinky obese god", I suspect
Code:
[COLOR=white]weighty deity[/color]
, but the second word has three (though subtle) syllables.
