Hindi diacritics: substitute font for southasiantimes?

I need to edit a text that is currently in Word on a Mac (I run Word 2003 SP3 on XP) that uses a font called SouthAsianTimes that allows for Hindi diacritics. I can't find any font that the files will convert to without wrecking the diacritics.

Two issues:
1. Is it possible to copy the font "suitcase" from the Mac and convert it/import it so I have access to the font on my machine?

2. Where might I find a font to use that will allow the Hindi diacritics?
