HijackThis problem 1

The last few times I tried to run HijackThis.exe, I got this error:

"HijackThis has encountered a problem and needs to close."

I have not been able to run it at all on this PC.

I wonder why.

Version 1.98.2 works. The version I was trying was 1.99.
