Highlighting in RichEdit

Hi all,

I've been trying to achieve the following, with no luck whatsoever.

I have a RichEdit control, a button and an edit control on my form. After i type something in the edit control and hit the button, I want that typed data to show up on the RichEdit control as highlighted data.

Any idea how i can go about doing this? Your help is appreciated.

Have you tried SetFocus or do you mean that another component will have focus but you want the text to be highlighted?

To be a little more specific, after I press a button, I want the typed data to show up on the rich edit with the data being highlighted in red.

The rich edit will have other lines of data in it, so when this particular typed data shows up on it, I want it to be highlighted to be able to distinguish it from the other lines of data.
