Highlight that Text in SK 98 Memos? Yes! I have often wished that SK 98 allowed a few more tweaks to their text typing. Highlighted text would be one of my first thoughts.
Sometimes the best discoveries are by accident (Frequently in my case!) Just thought you might want to learn that I was able to highlight text in SK98 (but only in the Memo Files.) I tried it in SKCard (Now called Contacts) and it did not work.
However, in the Write (Memo) file, I am successful in importing previously typed text and attributes. I generally use Word Perfect v.11 and have not tried this with MS Office. I was trying to copy some WP 11 work into the Memo File and . . . Viola! I did so.. . . including my Highlighted yellow sentence. The process was a simple "Copy and Paste" from the clipboard. This may also work for other text attributes but does not work to transfer any pictures or drawings.
The reverse process, though slightly labor intensive, also works. Text which you have typed in SK Memos can be transferred to the word processing program, highlighted (or whatever tweak you wish to try) and then returned to SK Memo file with the new attributes.
Sure enjoy this forum / web page. I don't visit too often at present as my SK 98 is working flawlessly. I am eternally grateful for the conversion advice from SK 95 to SK98.
After I post this I am off to post a Thank you to GaryBrit for the advice on fixing/updating the Time Cync feature.
