I am using CR 2008 with an Oracle 11g db as my data source. I have created an order detail report and grouped it by sales rep id, then created a formula for rep names to use as group names. How do I format this field so that if I select the rep name on the group tree, the name is highlighted in the report?? My report has close to 5000 sales reps and when you select a rep name from the group tree, it takes you to the page the rep is on, but then you have to search the page for his name. I would imagine there is an easy way to do this, but I can't figure it out. Any ideas??

You might consider drill-down. That would mean a report consisting just of the sales reps and you only get order details when you click on one.

Your HELP function should tell you how to do Drill-down.

I doubt there's a way to do what you're wanting to do, go direct to the sales rep via the group tree, unless you adjusted the group options to start each on a new page. Or at least to keep together.
