Hi Everyone.

I have a subform which in Detail line have Item#, DateShipped, Qty, and a Returned Checkbox. What I want to do is when the user check the Returned chkbox, I want to make the Item#, DateShipped, Qty Backcolor to grey for a better visual effect. My problem is when the checkbox is checked, all the rows in this subform are grey. IS there a way to make just the ones that are checked to be grey? Any help is greatly appreciated.

You need to create a Yes/No field in your table and make the checkbox bound to this field. Then, in Design View, select the fields you want to format, goto

Format - Conditional Formatting

and enter this:

Expression Is
[CheckBoxName] = -1

then select the background color from the appropriate icon (looks like a paint bucket.)
