High response times during the night when there is very low utilization

Hi,

I have a 2901 router which is showing some odd behaviour. During the evening/night/weekends when there is no load on the CPU or WAN link the response times to the router over the network becomes quite high, anything between 200 - 600ms. The normal response time during the day when it is use is between 2ms - 5ms.

The response times tend to get worse every day and a reboot will clear the issue for a few days and then the issue will start to creep in again.

Does anyone know what might cause this type of issue or what i can do to investigate it?

Its running C2900- universalK9-M 15.1(4)M1

What does your CPU utilization look like when the latency is up? Do you notice whether or not memory usage is creeping as the latency becomes higher?
