HI i have a bmp which I want to convert into a high quality vector. With the trace option is sucks...which way should I go should I use another totally different program?

Trace at the moment doen not work particularly well and tracing manually may be an option. Sign programmes such as Signlab and Flexisign do a much better job especially line work but even their results may need some work and of cource do cost a bit. There are some prograames which do only vectorising but even they cost. Your best options maybe to persevere with manually tracing or get a local sign company to do an automatic trace for you to edit afterwards.

For those wanting a trace programme to try goto there is 30 day trial on traceline. I don't know how it compares to Corel Trace, if any body tries it let us know
