High level encryption

Hi there,

I'm having an odd problem with my 2k3 server.

I'm running a web app which generates secured pdf's, which works fine when tested on our 2k server here in the office (which has the high level encryption pack installed). The code fails when it runs on the 2k3 server, and complains that i must have high level encryption enabled. It was my understanding that 2k3 had this feature built in?

could someone tell me where to enable this feature??

Hi, did you enable the specific extension? (iis console, web server extensions, be sure to allow your app extension (.asp, asp.net or any that match your application)

Please post more details about what exactly your app tries to do using which technology.

BTW, your understanding is correct about the high encryption.

the high encryption is standard in W2k3 and w2k sp3 or later.
