We are having some issues with SIP disconnects and our current setup with TDE systems. Our SIP provider blames the ISP, the ISP blames the SIP provider and I am stuck trying to weed this all out.
PBX logs show SIP server disconnect, data link failure, then data link established. The data link will take about 5 minutes to re-establish a SIP connection.

Panasonic is able to log into the PBX with a high level account in order to change the Registrar re-sending interval to 30 seconds so it does not take so long to re-connect.
Does anyone know what account they use in order to do this?

On the NS 700, this option is available to INSTALLER.

It is done at the INSTALLER login level
go to the virtual slot for the SIP GW card, register settings and scroll to far right, I set ours to 10 seconds

On a TDE system, that option is not available to the INSTALLER login level the way it is for an NS system.

it is available to installer, it is in the sip gateway settings, that is only a short term fix, you need to find the problem, if it happens every day put wireshark trace on a mirror port on the system and see what happens when it stops working. it normally is a broadband issue but this would narrow it down

I open my Maint console
Enter INSTALLER for user code
Click on profile and access PBX
I do not see the option on the SIPGW card of my TDE600.

I am selecting the Virtual Shelf, then the port properties of the SIPGW card. The only option available is Register sending and not register RE-SENDING.
On an NS, both these options are available to INSTALLER.

Hey bigglesnz111

Can you send to - click on post edited

Thanks bigglesnez111, unfortunately this did not work.
Launch the MAINT console and enter the information contained in the file you sent. Get an invalid password or model type. Tried changing the ending TDA to TDE as well. I tried with the * and without.
Found this link here Maybe the password is different for a TDE?

the difference between level dealer / level company
(Reserved bits)
Be careful when you enter the company level if you are unsure of the correct work
Be careful my friend from falling system

Thanks ingy500. Do you know how to access the Developer account?

Thanks ingy but how is this used with the MAINT console?
What am I using instead of INSTALLER? I tried DEVELOPMENT but that is not working.

Wait, are you saying I need the SDKV1 Software to access the TDE system in order to change the RE-SENDING timer?

This must be a well hidden and guarded secret as I can find nothing on the web, nor have I found one Panasonic dealer/Friend who has been able to find it either.

It is through the programming tool in INSTALLER see attached screen shot.

My friend raist3001
You mean and explain something else....sdk another subject
use X lite TO PC..Test isp provider
I think.. You don't have any problem with PBX

Thanks Obtsystems, but the resending interval is not available to INSTALLER. Not only has Panasonic confirmed this but the option is not there when I log in as INSTALLER. You must be logging in with a different programming code?
Do you have Automatic Login selected? Can you confirm what programmer code you are using? And what version UMC?
