Hierarchically summarising a running total

Hi there

I am building an org chart via hierarchical grouping... when i insert some summaries I have been using the summarise across hierarchy option. trouble is when I want to summarise my running total across the heirarchy, i dont have this option and dont know what to do...

can anyone help on this one?

In order to do this, you will either need to create another set of Running Totals (not recommended), create some formulas that will allow you to summarize them at different levels.

I think it would be beneficial for you to provide some a sample layout with data for us to see what you are doing. Also, explaing what your running totals are doing, ie. what kind of summary, how your are evaluating, and how you are resetting them currently?

Crystal version, database type might help as well.
