Greetings,
I have grouped a number of work order numbers using hierarchy grouping options in Crystal Reports 8. Database is Oracle 9i. My report shows several levels per group. For each level except for the first, there are associated costs. Here is an example of this:

10
20
30 $220
40 $290
50 $125
60
70
80
90 $213
100 $765
110 $567
120 $421
130 $784
140 $539
150 $237

What I'd like to do is hard for me to explain. I want to basically summarize associated costs in such as way that, for example: subtotal the costs associated with work order numbers 120, 130, 140, 150 and place this summary with work order 10. And subtotal the costs for Work order numbers 90, 100, 110 and place this summary with work order number 80. And so on. Any help on this matter will be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks in advance.

Dear Krusher,

From you explanation it is a little difficult to see what you want the report to look like. Could you use your example data above to show what the expected output of the report would look like, what relates those Work Orders whose records should be subtotaled together ...

I assume if you are using the hierarchical grouping function that there is some parent child relationship, but you provided no data on what field that was.
