Hie everyone
I am failing to get sip lines from a provider working on ipecs lik600 ver 6.1bf. The provider has told me to use Asterisk 13 or better, one that is rfc3966 compliant.
Has anyone come across this problem before?

The lines wont register

what do you get under ths sip trunk status in the state field?

are you able to get other sip lines working on this system or is it the first time you tryed to get sip to work on it ?

you need to make sure all your routes in and out to the system are built correctly . on your fire walls and all the port forwarding is correct etc.

i had one the other day where they simply didnt set the out going route correctly on the router as the customer had more than one wan ip.

I use 4 diffrent SIP providers. The other 3 i have no problems all my lines register and work perfectly fine. It is this other provider who specifically told me to use Asterisk 13 or better, one that is rfc3966 compliant after querying why the lines were not registering.
I have tried the SIP lines on an Asterisk 13 box and sure enough they work with no problem.
I have done a wireshark capture while trying to register with MFIM300 and I always get "authentication error unauthorised 401"
I am not using any firewall
any help would be greatly appreciated
