hi there,

I have a page with hyperlinks to pages on my machine at home. I want to hide the IP address (like: from showing in the address bar. Does anyone know how i can achieve this?

Thanks,
Any help is greatly appreciated!

You could always use the framed approach. Instead of having your page link directly to your machine at home, it can load the page from your machine at home inside a frame.

One a page with frames, you always see the address of the page that started the frameset in the title bar. In this case, that would be the page of links.

One could still see the destination of those links by simply mousing over them and looking at the status bar (you can override that with a lil bit o' java) or viewing the source of the page after they've clicked a link (seeing the frame's SRC= attribute).
