We use CE 9 (upgrading to XI over the summer I hope) and use a combination of ePortfolio and url links for the reports. The url links pass a number at the end in the prompt0=. I want to hide that or encrypt it somehow so users can not put in different numbers and see other users' information. Has anyone ever found a solution for this?

I don't know of an easy way within CE9

however other posts in other forums suggest using a javascript form post on click and use form variables. allow the reportPage.cfm to accept it's parameters as url or form variables.

It would appear this way you are hiding the values in a variable and hence they cannot be modified.

Obviously we're talking about customizing the eportfolio page
