How do you programmatically hide/unhide the menu bar?

Try this in the form's Load event:

DoCmd.ShowToolbar "Menu Bar", acToolbarNo

Code on!

Another trick is to use the undocumented switch =1 in a form's MENUBAR property. This turns off the standard menu. The benefit here it that you don't have to turn it back on again - it automatically reappears when you close the form.

Me? Ambivalent? Well, yes and no....
