hello ..im trying to create a internet cafe timer program ... a simple one .. my problem is that I want my application not to be seen on the task manager list of application .. so that no one could actually kill my timer. I have experience someone actually killing the application so that I wont be able to track how many minutes he has use the pc .. thanks in advance

why not figure out a way to not allow Task Manager show up? There are software tools out there that will lock an application so i can not be launched.

the best way, IMO, is to have the timer run as a service, under the admin account, and of course the user will have limited machine rights, therefore will not be able to kill the timer process.
