Hi all.
I created a movie which is 950 x 650 pixels. I am tweening objects that start just off the screen and move into the centre. Problem is, due to movie dimensions never fitting the browser window exactly, the borders on left and right of the screen show the objects 'waiting in the wings' before they appear on screen. I realise you can change the properties between 'exact fit', 'no border' etc, but I don't want my movie cropped or distorted. Is there a way to hide the edges other than placing a large covering object at the sides?
thanks :)
Andy.
Also, if anyone wants to look at the page(s) so far, go to and let me know what you think (For a beginner!)

Other than adding the following to your Body tag:

leftmargin="0" rightmargin="0" topmargin="0" bottommargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0"

you could always move your waiting objects a little further from the stage and for what its worth...I have used a cover many times to conceal objects, my theory is whatever works the best...do it. There aren't a lot of rules. Be creative. Ya' Gotta Love It!:)X-)

Two questions: Is this swf loaing into a level or mc? If it is, then you'll have to use objects to cover them up. When a movie loads another swf into a level or mc the whole thing will pop up. If it is embedded into an html page then only the stage shows up and anything off to the side won't be visible. Or, just place them really far off the stage and then have them jump to the edge when needed.
