Hiding macros from users

I did a menu driven programme in excel using macros. I protected all the sheets and put a password on the document, but once the user starts using the programme i realize that there is nothing to stop the user from saying tools, macro, step into and changing my macros. Is there any way I can protect the macros or hide them from users.

In Excel, 2000 at least, get to the VBA editor / Project Properties / Protection and check Lock Project for viewing and enter a password. I do not know what level of protection it affords (encryption etc?).
