Does anybody know of a way to hide the last 3 digits of an outbound call within CDR? Here is what I am looking to do:
1. Place a call, local or long distance. For example, 555-555-1234.
2. Within the CDR output, I would like to see the call record show up as, 555-555-1xxx.

One of our over seas locations has a specific law that does not allow them to keep records of calls that were made, unless they are able to hide the last 3 digits of the number. I am told that this is possible to do, but I have been unable to think how to do it. I am now looking into how I might be able to manipulate digits.

I found the solution to my problem. I used ndp in the route data block. I set NDP to exc 3, which excludes the last 3 digits of a dialed number in the CDR output.

Good stuff!!!

What if you only wanted to do per extension?
