Is there a way to hide a column in a grid so the heading and data do not appear. I use a cursor to populate a grid with the following fields, item number, description, date and sequence number. I only use the sequence number to obtain the order and provide a unique field. However I do not want this field displayed in the grid, but I need it to be returned when the grid row is active. I am using VFP 5.0

Thanks

Have you tried (in the init of the grid) setting the column width to 0?

There's nothing saying that a grid has to contain all of the columns in a cursor or table. You just need to give the set-up or code a little more attention to link each column to specific fields.
