I have an Access Database which I access from a VB app. My problem is I run reports which are held in the database and when I run these reports the user then has access to the database. I want to hide everything apart from the report but can't find a way to do it from the VB App

I've not tried it, but can can you make the mdb an mde and still run the reports from vb. Sounds unlikely. Peter Meachem

I have answers for ur question an easy one and the hard one.
The easy one:
Create the report by urself in ur VB application.
The hard one:
If u want to restrict the user to acces the Database information then create a security file with users and groups account. But before do that u have to keep in mind that access a database like that is a little different that u do usually.
