Hi when I hide a user for the global address book but checking the box on the advanced tab for email users it stops them from loging on throught OWA. Is this suppose to happen? Is there away aroung it? I have user that i do not want to appear in the address book but need to access via OWA.

Hiding a user from global address book.

that's the way it works. An alternative is to create a new recipient container, recreate this user's account inside it, and then give the service account Search permissions to this container.
