I am trying to hide a section of my report if a subreport doesn't have any records. Can anyone help?
I have crystal 8.5.
Thanks

In Crystal 8.5, the subreport is evaluated after the rest of the section, and after the decision that the section should be printed or suppressed. Crystal 9 added an option to suppress blank subrepots. For Crystal 8.5, you have to use a work-round:
a) Copy the subreport
b) Place the subreport in some higher section, and make it as small as possible.
c) Use Shared Variables to pass back a value, that will indicate whether or not the subreport should be suppressed.
d) Use this returned value to determine whether or not to suppress the main copy of the subreport.
