Hello I wonder if you can help

This is quite a small but highly anoying problem.

Then I move the mouse over a field in a report it shows where in the database it comes from in the tool tip. I understand I can overrun this with another value but how can I hide it completly??

Matt

P.S. I'm using Crystal Reports for VB.NET

Right click on any inactive space on your report - that's anywhere with no fields, and uncheck the Tool Tips options.

All the best,

Naith

I've tried that. I can't seem to find it on the right click menu. Is it in a different place in .net??

Matt

P.S. Thanks in advance

It possibly is in a different place in .net. I'm afraid I'm not at liberty to tell at the moment. If you enter Tool in your Crystal help index (F1), you should be given an indication where Tool Tips is set.

Naith

You need to pick each field and put in a single space string for the "Tool Tip" conditional formatting ("_") to stop the tool tip from showing. Mike

I've done that but it still shows the yellow box. Does anyone know how to hide them all??

Hi,

Go to the file options and uncheck the check boxes 'show tool tip in design' and 'show tool tip in preview'

Thank,
Hamida
