Hi all,

Is there a way to hide/limit the windows that appear in the task bar.

I mean when I open a Access DB, a Switchboard comes up. When I click on one of the buttons, it bring out a form.

Now I have 3 windows in my taskbar (.... think it is called "taskbar" .... the empty space between the "shortcuts" on the left and the "clock" on the right.).

Can I just hide all these and not make it appear on the bottom screen.

OR better:
When minimized or open, it will only show a "logo" next to the clock. So, when I click on it, it opens up the DB. When I minimize it, it shows a logo next to the clock.

Thanks for the help.

In the menu Tools -> Options -> Display tab uncheck Windows in task bar.

Hope This Helps, PH.

Thanks PHP. That worked.

Also, is there a way to "minimize the DB" in Systems tray. I mean, when I minimize, it automatically goes to the system tray.
