Hi All,

We are trying to hide an extension CLID when calling other extensions. CLS DDGD NAMD.
It worked on Digital phones.
However, the CLID still appear on Attendant Console M2250 or M1250.
We tried opt XDP (exclude digit display) on the attendant but it disabled all displays.

Anyway to make the DDGD work when the called number is an attendant console?

Thanks.

Hi Again,

Fogot to say that in NTPs, Calling Party Name Display Denied feature (DDGD and NAMD)cannot be applied to
attendant consoles.

But anybody could overcome this issue?

Thanks

You want - when the console is called, for the attendant not to see who is calling? I would hope that is not obtainable, what would be the point of an attendant. Make the console 2616s or 3904s and remove the console if the features there of are not disired.

This is exactly what I want. They want to assign an unknown number to all (the director wnats to use it).

I would suggest to deny this number from calling the console (XLST) and CLS DDGD NAMD to disable CLID apperance on other digital sets.

Thanks anyway.

You could just super-glue something over that part of the console display, but that's pretty "final"

Bad ID why would you not want the attendants to see CLID? Sounds like the director has too much time on his/her hands. Are they trying to trick the attendants so they don't know who is calling?

Sometimes a telecom person has to pick their battles, then wait for some other reason that the director gets fired.

Train the directory to hit *9 or whatever it is that blocks caller ID before they call in?...
[shrug]

Sure sounds like somebody has an "issue"...
