Hide called id number from other extension

Hi for all..! Im using kx-ns500 how can i hide the called id from extension phone..? My customer who use digital ext want to hide his phone extension Number from other ext, how can i achieve that from web console.. Thanks in advance.

Don’t think you can hide internal extension numbers from another user. You could give him a phone without a extension number assigned that he could call other extension from and it will show a colon but then everyone would know it was him after a while with no number

If you have an extension connected to the system, say extension 220, just delete 220 as the extension numbers from that port

But what a bout Extension caller id sending in option 8 in wired extension..? What that mean..? Is this feature refer to my question or something else.?

That is for external calls sending caller id of the line or ddi on isdn or sip

One of my customer want this feature, and i actually notice that in his old panasonic phone, he was able to hide the extension number, this is the senario:
An incoming co line came to the master - (digital) - phone and after 10 sec call override to another analoge ext, i notice something very interesting that all the screen in the ext phone doesnt have any display, something like he was turn off the screen but the phone can make and recive call normaly, but without any display, how can this happen do you have any idea..? Actually its the first time that i saw something like that..!

This parameter defines to send or not to send CallerID information TO this extension.
You can't disable CallerID sending FROM any extension (for internal calls).
You can only delete the extension number at all (as obtsystems said). In that case this extension will make internal calls without caller ID but also you will not be able to make a call to this extension (because it doesn't have a number to call).
