I have a spreadsheet that I want to hide and lock some of the worksheets to protect them from being examined by anyone wanting to see the calulations in them.
The trouble is that everything I try can be undone by a few menu selections.
Is there anyway this can be done

if you protect the WORKBOOK with a password, then the user will not have the ability to UNHIDE a WORKSHEET.

If you select all the cells with formulas you wish to protect, go to Format, Cells, Protection make sure Locked and Hiddden are selected. Then when you password protect the sheet the formulas will not be visible. Th epassord will be need to examanine the contents of your formulas.

If you do not need to dispaly teh sheet with th eformulas you can set it via VBA to be invisible too even the Unhide menu.

Worksheets("Sheet1").Visible = xlVeryhidden will hide Sheet1 so that you cannot unhide except by code.

Sorry Guys,
My own silly fault I was doing what you have already told me, the problem was the hidden sheets within the workbook while accessing the data. This has now been sorted.

Thanks for your help
