When I try to view a report in ePortfolio I need to hide a parameter. This is a first step for the requirement I am doing. If a report have a parameter called 'Employee ID' I need to hide it.( and say pass a constant value to it )

How can I acheive this ?
Which .csp page should I start with ?
I cannot remove the parameter from Crystal Report
I am using Crystal Enterprise 10

Hi,
In the Crystal Management Console, set the parameter properties of that report to the value you want and be sure the 'clear current value' and 'prompt user for value' check boxes are unchecked..

One note. This parameter is *NOT* hidden in report scheduling. So if the users can schedule the report, they have access to change it (and the selection formula etc.)

Well I need to make change in .CSP code to get this done. Where is the starting point ?

You can remove the ability to schedule if that is what you want to do, via security settings.

If they need to schedule, you will have to update the csp pages. I need to do so, but haven't started yet. If you get yours done you could send them to me :)

Hi kutoose,
I need to do the exact same thing! I want to hide a cursor parameter from the user's scheduling the report. If I find anything on it, I'll post it.

Thanks,
Jen
