Hidden File upload VB.NET

I need a way of uploading a file to a server in an intranet enviornment silently. The user clears their terminals (not web based) which generates a set of csv files. They then open a web form which needs to upload the files for the day and read them into the form. I can parse out the date, but I want the files to upload automatically when the form is opened without the user having to spec their location and filename. We are using vb.net. PLEASE HELP!!

we used this for our web portal to create file uploading pages, and it works like a charm. You'd just have to modify it for the page load event to fire it.

Not sure if it is possible. I could see that as being a serious security breach. Sure your not breaching security but without any user input it would be easy to grab sensitive documents from anyones computer.

you can't. for security reasons. The user will always be promped for files written from the internet to their computer.
The only way is through cookies, but if they have disabled that option on their browser, then not even the coockies will be uploaded silently.

plus, I am sure you wouldn't want someone to upload files on your computer while you are surfing, without telling you what those files are and do...
