I'm trying to reinstall a linksys wireless adapter on a W2K Pro machine. The old driver was removed, but when I reinstall it I keep getting the error "the name is already in use as a service name or a service display name" with a #3 or #4 after each time I do it.

I believwe that the driver may be hidden in the registry, how can I solve this problem.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
