The option to turn on the hibernate mode on my Windows 7 machine is not available. I tried the powercfg -h command in cmd and received the following message: "Hibernation failed with the following error: the request is not supported. The following items are preventing hibernation on this system. There are one or more legacy drivers installed: VgaSave. An internal system component has disabled hibernation."
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks

Get updated drivers for your devices. By the error VgaSave I'd assume its referring to the video card drivers which seem to bethe legacy ones installed by Windows 7. These likely don't offer the features necessary for hibernation.

Go to your Video Card's Manufacturer's Website to download up to date drivers for it. Those should have any feature necessary for hibernation.

See how many unsigned drivers you have running on your machine. This article will guide you on the instructions but all you have to do is type sigverif in Start Menu/ Run.
